
About the Role
Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with a hospitality background to oversee the preventative maintenance of their facilities. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of HVAC plant rooms, chiller towers, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong technical background, financial acumen, and the ability to manage contractors efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Oversee and perform preventative maintenance for hotel facilities.
• Ensure the smooth operation of HVAC plant rooms, chiller towers, and refrigeration systems.
• Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate with external contractors.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and cost control related to maintenance operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work and expenditures.
Requirements
Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment is essential.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and chiller towers.
Plumbing experience is advantageous.
Financially savvy, with experience in budgeting and expense management.
Excellent contractor and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work shifts as per operational requirements.
